Our village is situated between the Gorges du Verdon and Castellane. With approximately twenty year-round residents, you can enjoy a quieter environment away from crowds while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Located at the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon, in a charming hamlet offering breathtaking views, you will find a renovated house which is part of the Château de Chasteuil dating from the 17th century.

The population is around 20 people throughout the year.
Chasteuil is a bit like stepping back in time with its small pedestrian paths that wind through the village.
The absence of vehicles adds to the peaceful ambiance, allowing locals and visitors to fully absorb the laid-back atmosphere of the village.

In our area, there are numerous grocery stores and restaurants located within 2.5 to 10 km, depending on the season. The majority of shops and services can be found in Castellane.
The outdoor market takes place on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in Castellane, offering a variety of fresh produce and local goods.
While Chasteuil is undeniably charming, it lacks grocery stores, restaurants, and services. Visitors may need to venture to Castellane for their shopping and dining needs.
